1 cup multigrain rice
2 tbsps shredded kombu (kelp)
2 cups water
B (Mixed well)
200g fish fillet
1 tsp soy sauce
ground pepper to taste
1 tbsp shredded carrot
3 tbsps shredded lettuce
2 tbsps shredded purple cabbage
1. Cut fish into small pieces. Cook (A) in rice cooker until done.
2. Add (B). Cover the lid and leave it for 15 minutes.
3. Arrange cooked rice on a plate. Sprinkle (C) on top and serve.
Adding whole grain and fibre to the diet helps to cut the risk of heart disease and Type 2 Diabetes. They also assist in weight control.
